Over the course of the three days of doing Halloween science experiments, we learned new things about chemicals and what happens when you mix them together, learned how to get involved with the kids, and just have fun! My partners and I projects were corn starch and water, and floating bubbles. We mixed corn starch and water into a rubber made container. It took quite a bit of stirring to get it perfect so we could make it fun and have people walk across it. The kids really enjoyed being able to touch it and run their fingers through it. We even got a teacher to come up and walk across it. The floating bubbles on day 1 worked perfect. We put baking soda and vinegar into a fish tank and blew the bubbles in as the baking soda was fizzing. That first day we got tons of the bubbles that were floating around in that tank. The second day we couldn’t get it to work as good. But we kept trying anyways.
