Since the beginning of this semester, I have learned quite a bit about photography, from basics to more complex things that I did not know before I started this class. I've learned things like how to make your own macro lens for an iPod touch, 5th generation, and also where to find macro lenses to buy. I learned how to adjust white and black balances, and how to change your exposure of photos to make a better image. Also for an iPod 5, I have found that if you turn on your HDR to help with improving shadows and bright skies. If skies look white, turning on the HDR will make the sky noticeably blue, as it should be. I've learned that some videos that are taken with a cell-phone camera can tend to turn out shaky; this is due to the device's size and its weight. The rolling shutter, that is used by sensors in the camera also produce some warping. A camera's rotation during the video capture is measured in gyroscopes. The rule of thumb for catching sharp, handheld images is that you should not handhold a camera at shutter speeds that the equivalent focal length of the lens.
